Born in the Alpine valleys carved out by millennia-old glaciers, with uninterrupted views of snow-capped peaks rising skywards like cathedrals, the brand stands out for its aesthetic and graphic vision of mountain fashion. While most brands prioritise technicality over style, Deux-Mille™ seeks to create products that fit into a world where mountain clothing has become lifestyle clothing, where style is more than just a personality statement. Whether on the edge of those flaming ridges, on those starry nights or in those oceans of flowers, mountain adventure offers us the most beautiful and noble thing of all: freedom. Deux-Mille™ seeks to put its finger on this simple yet beautiful feeling: let's go outside, yes, and if we're going to do it, we might as well do it in style.
Discover our "Étoiles" T-shirt
The "Étoiles" t-shirt has been created to remind us of those nights spent in the great outdoors, chatting for hours under the firmament and remaking the world, looking for the big dipper and marvelling at the smallest shooting star. The designs take the form of a stamp and a postcard, because we believe that contemplating the sky is already travelling. With a slightly shorter cut but still a certain width, this t-shirt is made for dreamers who never stop being amazed.
What is Deux-Mille™ ?
Deux mille means two thousands in french. The name echoes two origins:
Firstly, the altitude. Two thousand metres is the symbolic height at which you really enter the mountains, where the first wild summits take shape, where the first eternal snows lie.
Then there's the year 2000. Paul, the designer, was born that year. To create Deux Mille™ was also to inscribe a project in its time, that of a new generation, free to redefine codes, and to blend nature and design, style and emotion.
Our plan.
Creating a Deux-Mille product means creating a product that will stand the test of time. A piece that you can pass on to your children, who will in turn pass it on to their children. What drives us in the creation of our pieces is finding the perfect cut, marvelling at the most sublime materials and designing graphics that speak to us. What's more, as we often live in the mountains, we're very close to the glaciers and therefore in direct contact with global warming. Creating products that respect the environment is a necessity for us. That's why we produce our products in Portugal. All this takes time and we prefer quality to quantity. That's why we only have one T-shirt on sale at the moment. But there are plenty of products in the pipeline, so stay tuned!
